Scott Allmendinger brings more than 50 years of foodservice, operations, media, technology, innovation, sales and marketing, and educational experience to his role as adjunct instructor. He previously served as co-director of CIA Consulting and senior director of the Industry Solutions Group for the college. Prior to joining the faculty, Scott was vice president, sales for Leanpath, Inc. in Beaverton, OR and a mentor for the Maine Center for Entrepreneurs in Portland, ME.

His extensive editorial and publishing experience is highlighted by his role as executive vice president of CSP Business Media, publisher of print and online business-to-business magazines such as Restaurant Business and Foodservice Director. He was also food editor, test kitchen director, associate publisher, and editorial director for Restaurant Business, in addition to several other leadership positions in the publishing field. He spent a decade as a chef for restaurants, resorts, and conference centers as well.

Scott has been recognized by Forbes and Folio magazines for his work on B2B websites and has served on several boards, including the Women’s Foodservice Forum and the International Foodservice Editorial Council. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Middlebury College in Middlebury, VT and a CIA Research & Development certificate.
