Kelly Ford Lau is the founder of KellySOMM, Nevada’s first e-commerce wine store, established in 2020 in Las Vegas. She was invited by the Austrian and Italian governments to promote regional development in the U.S. A UNLV Hotel College alum, she was named one of Wine & Spirits magazine’s “Best New Sommeliers of 2010.”
In addition to her role at KellySOMM, she works at Provi, where her SaaS and e-commerce skills help connect the American B2B beverage industry. KellySOMM specializes in delivering high-quality, low-intervention, and natural wines through a curated subscription service and bottle shop.
Her extensive experience includes working as a lead sommelier at renowned venues like Delmonico by Emeril Lagasse and Bazaar Meat by José Andrés. Before starting her company, she had a successful career as a wine supplier. Last year, she taught a Wines of the World course at UNLV, reflecting on her 20-year journey.
