Course: Nutrition and Optimal Diets I: Theory.

 

Julie Wintersteiner is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with a MS in Nutrition from Cornell University and a BS in Biology from University of Michigan. Her expertise includes nutrition science, nutrition research, as well as the biological sciences.

She currently teaches Nutrition, Food Safety, and Science Fundamentals at the undergraduate level and starting spring 2026 will be teaching the graduate level Nutrition and Optimal Diets I: Theory. Her culinary professional development includes completing CIA’s Plant-Powered Bootcamp as well as a certification in Culinary Nutrition by the Culinary Nutrition Studio.
