Chris’ singular focus has been running food start-ups, food marketing firms and food product innovation organizations.

Most recently, Chris served as chief innovation officer and CEO at SpoonfulOne, a new food platform to help stop the growth of food allergies in children around the world. Chris developed the product platform, manufacturing and supply chain, IP/patents, and assisted in raising over $120 million in capital for the growth of the organization. SpoonfulOne is now launched in Target, CVS, Walgreens, HEB, as well as ex-U.S. markets including China, Japan, Hong Kong, and the EU in partnership with Nestle Health Science.

Prior to SpoonfulOne, Chris founded DINE, The Food & Drink Agency to help companies create, launch, and promote new disruptive food business platforms. Chris and his team deployed a rapid, guerrilla prototyping methodology to develop hundreds of new food products and brands for start-ups and multi-nationals. Chris and his team launched over 50 new food brands and 100+ SKUs for single entrepreneurs, mid-tier, and Fortune 500 companies.

Chris also served as chief innovation officer at Revolution Foods where he led the brand, R&D, and innovation teams with the goal of creating new products, new services, and new brands to accelerate change in the K-12 food eco-system. During his tenure, Revolution Foods was selected as one of “The World’s 50 Most Innovative Companies” by Fast Company Magazine.

Chris is a frequent speaker and lecturer at industry events including Food Vision, Fancy Food Show, Best of Food and Beverage Packaging, IFT, and the Food Business School. In addition, Chris is also a featured contributor to business and food publications as well as a judge on the Lifetime TV show Supermarket Superstar.
