Leigh Fairbrass is a current master’s student in our Wine and Beverage Management program. While building a career as a private chef—and competing on Season 22 of Hell’s Kitchen: The American Dream—Leigh decided to pursue her master’s degree in wine to take her career even further.
During a recent social media takeover, Leigh took us through a day in the life of a CIA master’s student. She shares details and content from the Napa Valley residencies, program curriculum, and gives us a close-up look at the wine tasting kits provided for at-home learning.
Leigh also discusses how, with the careful execution of time management skills and the flexibility of CIA’s asynchronous online learning format, she managed to film a reality show, maintain her career, and thrive in her master’s education studies—that’s life/work balance.
