Professor Golden has a keen curiosity for how products and consumers interact and understanding the drivers behind which brands succeed in the marketplace. She runs Nourishing Growth where she advises fast growing food and beverage brands on branding and marketing. In her 15+ year career in consumer packaged goods Golden has launched over 30 products and led numerous packaging and branding initiatives while launching breakthrough marketing campaigns. Ms. Golden has touched all aspects of the marketing mix and at each point applies storytelling and thoughtful design to create differentiation and cultivate consumer connections.

Golden’s career spans different categories and industries from CPG to nonprofit to direct agency work. Prior to starting Nourishing Growth she was the vice president of marketing and innovation for organic superfood company Navitas Organics, where she oversaw new product development, brand design, and managed a portfolio of 60+ products in multiple categories. Prior to Navitas she was at Clif Bar & Company, during some of their highest growth years, developing compelling 360° consumer marketing campaigns across grassroots, social media, online, event, and high-reach platforms. Professor Golden started her career at renowned agency Fallon, where she worked on campaigns for United Airlines and BMW.

Ms. Golden earned a Master of Business Administration from the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley and an undergraduate degree at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. She is a mom of two, a painter, and a volunteer for the equine therapy group, Giant Steps.
